Kurzbeschreibung

Nationality, citizenship, language of writing VS belonging and literary identity of writers.

Beschreibung

Memory, Migration & Belonging – Literary Identity is a panel discussion that explores how contemporary Armenian and European writers navigate questions of belonging, language loss, memory, and cultural transformation in their works. It seeks to establish a literary dialogue between writers who write from the edges — geographically, linguistically, and emotionally — and who redefine what it means to belong.
For authors who live between cultures and languages, literature often becomes both a refuge and a means of redefining the self. The event will bring together writers, to reflect on how national identity and personal history shape their writing and how memory functions within their literary works.
