Exhibition areas and hall layouts

Halls 2, 4 and 5 are home to a wide range of Fiction and Non-Fiction Books – with a focus on independent publishers in Hall 5. New adult fans can meet their stars and publishers in several halls, especially in Halls 4 and 3. Media, newspapers and magazines can be found as usual in various exhibition worlds in Halls 2, 4 and 5 as well as in the Glass Hall.
Hall 2 will remain the focal point for Specialist Books/Science, Religion, Travel Literature and Education. To make it attractive for educators, the Music section with its numerous offers for music teachers is also located in Hall 2. With the Congress Center Leipzig directly adjacent, there is a perfect connection to the numerous trade events that take place there. Hall 2 is also home to the Audio World section, which was redesigned in 2025, focuses on topics such as audio books and podcasts.
Children, adolescents and families will find Children’s and Young Adult Literature in Hall 3 with new reading material and lots of opportunities to get active themselves. The Fantastic Section, where readers of fantasy, science fiction and horror can immerse themselves in alien worlds, is in Hall 3.
As usual, visitors will find International Topics in Hall 4.
Hall 5 is dedicated entirely to the topics Art Book, Non-Book, Service Providers for Publishers and Book Trade. The Antiquarian Book Fair and the Book Art & Graphic Arts section will also be located in Hall 5.
Manga Comic Con, located in Hall 1 and Hall 3, is a major convention for fans of manga, anime, comics, games and cosplay.
