Your Accreditation for Leipzig Book Fair

Journalists and bloggers with valid credentials can apply for accreditation. You can find an overview of the accreditation guidelines (PDF, 94 kB) here. Camera operators, sound technicians, etc. are also advised to use the accreditation.

Pre-accreditation enables faster access to the trade fair on site, but is not a mandatory requirement. On-site accreditation with valid proof is also possible during the entire duration of the trade fair. However, to ensure that everything runs smoothly, we recommend pre-accreditation online.

After a successful check, your application will be activated. You will then receive your ticket (as well as a parking ticket) by email to be downloaded. If your application is missing the appropriate evidence, your accreditation will be denied. Should you have such evidence, you can re-apply.

Accreditation is a permanent ticket. You can enter the grounds as often as you wish over the entire course of the trade fair.

Admission to the hall is only possible during the official opening hours. Earlier admission is generally not possible. However, if you have an urgent need to enter the exhibition centre in advance, please contact us in advance and explain your reasons for early admission. We will do our best to take your requirements into account and, if necessary, grant early admission authorisation.

Accreditation is valid as a filming permit during trade fair opening hours. You therefore do not require any further filming authorisation. However, it is imperative that you observe the personal rights of other visitors and especially cosplayers and discuss your filming wishes with the actors in advance. If you would like to film before or after the trade fair closes, you will require an additional filming permit. In this case, please contact the press team.

Bloggers and creators who run an established blog on topics relevant to Manga Comic-Con can apply for accreditation.

Please note that there are special requirements for the accreditation of bloggers (PDF, 94 kB) – for example, the blog/vlog must have existed for at least one year and the name of the blogger must appear in the imprint.

Since there is an ever-growing number of bloggers, we have introduced various quality criteria to verify bloggers. In addition to having a subject-specific connection to Manga Comic Con or the Leipzig Book Fair, the blog must have existed for at least one year at the time of the event and be continuously maintained.

To gain access to BL:OOM – BloggerRoom, it is important that you register in advance as a blogger.

The Media Centre is located in the administration building of Leipziger Messe. You can get there by car via gate Süd 1 or by tram at the stop "Messegelände". Use the outside staircase to get to the main entrance and to the reception office.

WIFI is available throughout the Media Centre and in the halls. You can get the WIFI password on-site at the Media Centre.

There is a cloakroom in the Media Centre. You can drop off jackets and bags there. There are no lockers on site.

The press car park is located at the administration building. Access is via gate Süd 1(51°23'39''N / 012°23'52''O) or via the access to the trade fair building. Please hold your accreditation or your press ID ready.

• Accredit yourself in advance for Leipzig Book Fair and apply for a parking ticket at the same time. You do not need to enter your licence plate number at this stage.
• Once your accreditation has been approved, you will receive your accreditation and parking ticket by email.
• Print out the parking ticket before you arrive and enter your licence plate number and telephone number. The parking ticket is only valid with this information.
• On the day of the fair, drive to the press car park and show your online accreditation and the printed (!) parking ticket.

Yes, the parking ticket must be printed out and placed visibly in your car. Please fill in your registration number and telephone number beforehand. Purely digital parking tickets are unfortunately invalid. In this case, please drive to P11 and enter the administration building via the reception. There you will receive all of the necessary documents.

If you do not yet have accreditation or a parking ticket, drive to the press car park and go to reception in the administration building to obtain the necessary documents. Fill out the parking ticket and display it clearly in your vehicle.

The press car park is free of charge for accredited media representatives. If the press car park is full, you will be redirected to a paid car park. In this case, you can obtain a free voucher from the Media Centre or the information desks in the glass hall and east entrance hall upon presentation of your Book Fair press pass, which you can use to pay the fees incurred. The vouchers are valid for one calendar day.

Accreditation entitles you to use public transport free of charge in selected tariff zones of the Mitteldeutscher Verkehrsverbund during the course of the trade fair. You can travel free in MDV zone 110.
