The new look of Leipzig Book Fair

New look, clear stance: Leipzig Book Fair presents its new look

Fresher and more striking: Leipzig Book Fair visually opens a new chapter. With the relaunch of the logo and design, it is positioning itself even more decisively as one of the most important cultural brands in the German-speaking world.

The iconic logo – eye, spikes, book – remains recognisable, but appears in a contemporary form: tidier and bolder. New fonts and a brighter colour scheme bring the brand into the present – and make it fit for all channels and platforms.

The design system takes diversity into account: every sub-brand – from Manga Comic Con to Leipzig liest and the Leipzig Book Fair Prize – will have their own colour and visual identity. The familiar spikes become a crown, a hairstyle, a design element with character.

Together with the new look, the new motto of Leipzig Book Fair is also coming to the fore: “Where Stories Connect Us.

The motto sums up what the Book Fair is all about – and what it wants to make even more visible in the future: At Leipzig Book Fair, people come together, bringing different worlds and perspectives with them. It is the stories they share and experience with each other that build bridges – across differences, beyond filter bubbles. The trade fair is a space in which diversity gives rise to connection. Told. Lived. Felt.

The new look is more than just a design relaunch. It is a clear statement: Leipzig Book Fair continues to evolve – visually, content-wise, emotionally. Together with your community, your topics and formats.

The new design is not a break with the past – it is a new beginning. For a trade fair with an open mind that goes further and is never satisfied with the status quo.
